This is the first post on my itprofessional.ie tech blog. I believe the title is appropriate as a first post on a technical blog because ‘Hello World’ is often the first program written by beginner programmers because it introduces some simple concepts such as strings, print statements, and possibly variables.
As a programmer for a number of years, I am a strong believer in continuous learning as a means of career progression. I always enjoy learning new skills and becoming familiar with additional technologies. I also like to share the wealth. Some examples of where I like to help other programmers are in the following posts written a few years ago and through volunteering as a mentor with CoderDojo groups in Swords, Co. Dublin and Kells, Co. Meath.
